Behold Nebraskans!!!

Behold Nebraskans!! My friends, and fellow Square Pegs, Eric Peters and Randall Goodgame are heading your way this weekend. Click HERE for the dates. They'll be in Lincoln and Omaha and I know there are a good number of folks from there who read this blog, and I'd love to know you guys are going to go out and support two very incredible artists who happen to be two very wonderful people as well.

If I still lived out that way, I'd totally go. But I moved. Far, far away.

Talk them into coming to SC and I would be there.

Where is Cincinnati on all these tours? Caedmons? Andy and the Andys? Goodgame and Peters? I guess should just be grateful that the Christmas tour still comes to Milford every year.

While I do still consider myself a Nebraskan at heart, I am now in Kansas City and can't make it to these shows.

Rest assured, I will tell all my friends and family about it back home and hopefully we'll get about 90% of Nebraska to attend these shows. :)

I'll just echo GFM's usual commment here: If you book them, they will come. Otherwise, don't whine if you have to drive a ways to see them. :-)

I"m not from Nebraska but it sounds like Nebraskians are a hip, happy and hardy folk.

Nebraskians: hip, happy, hardy, and hardly ever horrible or haughty. And we have a heart for harried and hushed artists like Randall and Eric. Hip hip hooray!

If you're in Lincoln, the shows are Friday night at Union College or Sunday night at New Covenant Community Church. I'll be at both! Hoo-rah!

By the way, pray for Eric's guitar. It didn't arrive at the airport when he did this morning. We hope it arrives soon. If not, we can only guess it is on its way to a resort in the Bahamas, where it will spend too much time in the sun on its first day there and then curse its sunburn for the rest of its vacation.

Hey, is Geof going to those shows to record them? Does anybody know?

:crickets:

[Hey, it was funny in my head.]

The good Lord willin' and the creek don't rise, I'll be at two of the three shows. Attendance at the third show is a long shot. Eric Peters or Randall Goodgame alone would be great. But both on the same stage, on the same night? Three nights in a row? Are you kidding me? I feel like a kid waiting for his first county fair (hey, this IS Nebraska). Thanks AO for the heads up.

Yeah...I'll try to make it to the Foundry on Saturday....I'll see if any of my friends want to go. I'm looking forward to meeting and hearing these guys in person.

Friday was a treat at Union College. I've never heard either before, so it was a blast. Hopefully others enjoyed them too.
