Today is a Monday, man. I had about six things planned for the day and never finished the first one, even though I worked on it all day. (In case you're wondering, Yes, the first thing is a pedalboard...)
But it was a good day. I love my job. I love the people I work with, and I love the things we get to do. Today was a Monday, but that's all right. I like Mondays.

I saw a snippet of this show "Bowfire" on PBS tonight, and there was a guy playing a violin through a pedalboard - sounded like overdrive and a wah pedal...
... and I immediately thought of you and your pedalboard.
Too bad I'm close enough to see you (and your continuously evolving pedalboard) on tour. But, I am sending my extra copy of Overdressed to my best friend in Austin, TX for his birthday, along with info about the Austin concert on the 28th. I hope he enjoys both. :-)

I spent ALL DAY saturday working on my pedalboard trying to diagnose the new hum that occured [through multiple cables and amps]...after hours unplugging patch cables and pedals i finally realized my new apartment has flourescent lights all over the place...lights went off and the hum vanished.
Hope your pedalboard project was more fun/fruitful than mine!
[can't wait to see pics of the new rigs]
Mondays are like New Year's Day, the start of a new workweek (for most) and another chance to make it a good week!
Now Wednesdays....don't even get me started.
Mondays are the intestinal issues at the end of the great Mexican food that is a weekend.
I missed a word in my comment... Too bad I'm **NOT** close enough to see you (and your continuously evolving pedalboard) on tour.
As an acoustic instrument player (12-string, upright bass, hammered dulcimer, 6-string, mandolin - in that order of preference), I have not had the opportunity to bask in the wonder and glory of a top-notch pedalboard. But I also haven't done any concerts or recording... As a consolation, the tech geek type guy that I am finds the pedalboard discussions incredibly informative and entertaining.
Anyway.
I've had so many Mondays in a row that I'm not even sure what day of the week it *really* is anymore. :-) Given Jason's statement, I guess that means I'm getting pretty dehydrated by now.
