andy, thanks for the preview for letters 2. it looks like it is going to be an amazing album.

the line of "he taught me how to pray and how to save my soul, he taught how to praise my god and still play rock and roll" really encapsulates your whole body of work.

your pride in this song is surely evident.

keep on playing rock and roll. lol

"Zap you!"

I like the lead guitarist. You should start moving like that on stage, Andy.

Is "Sonseed" really the Normals pre-Forefront record deal days? =P

It's a shame that song didn't make it onto the debut album. ;-)

The line about mounties and always getting his man.....that's priceless.

The scariest thing to me about this video: the number of people I know who would consider this "hip" and "edgy."

September 2, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterLaura

This is so wrong on so many levels.

But I really wonder how much music on CCM radio will sound like this in 15 years. Zap!

September 2, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterJon S.

@Jon S. CCM Radio ALREADY sounds like this. :)

September 2, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterMark S.

They kind of sound like Belle and Sebastian.

Jesus is like a Mountie.

Let's all just pause and savor that for a moment.

Ah.

This looks like the product of obnoxious emergent/relativist theology.

September 2, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterRob

Wow. This fills me with wonder at so many different levels.

September 2, 2008 | Unregistered Commenterkeith

is that for real?

September 3, 2008 | Unregistered Commenterryan

WOW.

I just finished eating my grilled cheese for lunch at my computer. I laughed so hard I blew crumbs all over my keyboard. Thanks Andy, now I'll be picking pieces of my lunch out of my laptop the rest of the day.
