A great night for Hold the Light (and I just joined Facebook)

Well, it's happened. I joined Facebook. If you're on there, go find me and we can be friends.
We had another good show tonight in Pennsylvania. This morning the friends I paid homage to with the "willow tree" section of "Hold the Light" baptized their new baby boy this morning, while the recording of that song played. In their honor the guitar solo tonight was as joyous and hopeful as I knew how to let it be.
Thanks for everybody who came out and chatted tonight. These have been fun shows and I've been honored by the great response.
We're going home now where I'll get to spend the next few days with my flu-ish, feverish little girls. It will be sad that they're sick, but they get cuddly, and I'll feel guilty about enjoying that.

Facebook huh?....way to be "relevant".
Each time I hear a good report about a show I get more and more excited to see you guys in Hickory NC this weekend
enjoy your time with the girls, hope they get better soon!
The recording sounds good. If I'm not a complete zombie when I get home from work tonight, I'll put it out. Otherwise, it'll be tomorrow.
That was fun ... :)
Here's hoping for tonight, Geof. =)
Ah, I also recently gave into the great social networking machine. The draw was too strong. Though I absolutely refused to join myspace. Facebook seemed a lot less "middle school"-ish.
Andy, hope you all got home ok, the show at the Philadelphia Biblical University was great, I especially enjoyed your guitar work on Hold the Light...good stuff!
Don't feel guilty for enjoying the girls "getting cuddly", they will grow up so fast...I just got off the phone with my youngest from college and those "cuddly days" seem so long ago.
Thanks again for a great show!
andy, i'm so glad i could share that moment in the guitar solo with you. it was so full of emotion. send your friends well wishes from me.
thanks for the chats before and after the shows. it was a weekend to remember.
if you have any trouble making out my address for the cd's i ordered, e-mail me. i don't remember if i wrote down my postal code.
thanks again
Andy...welcome to facebook...I'll look for you. And Josh H--I agree with you on the Myspace thing...
Yea, I joined the trend a couple weeks ago. Glad to see you're there.
Add me on facebook! I've been addictively catching up on your blog for a couple weeks...almost all caught up. Keep on rockin!
yeah facebook is more jr. high than middle school.
Hey Andy,
poopy diapers... I know all about that. Hey - I wanted to say that I love your writing and guitar playing. I was at the PBU show and it was the first time that I've heard any solo stuff by the band members. I always enjoy Christian artists who are honest, virtuosic, and of course - play a mean guitar. What kind of acoustic did you play? I noticed the mcphereson in the beginning of caedmon's call set, but couldn't place the other acoustic... anyway - it was nice. Loved the sensitive riffs and progressions... ok - baisically it was excellent - so know that your music is meaningful and keep writing. Didn't get to say hello after the show, but "hello" now. Keep being real - your songs met me in a place where I can be skeptical or just plain apathetic about my faith - and they encouraged me... so thanks. Cheers. - Adam
