Hold the Light - Live

Here's a recording of Hold the Light from the Imperial Theatre in Augusta, GA. This was the second to last Peterson Christmas show, and it was a really good one.

The band on this tune was Cason on piano, Garett on cajon, Marcus Myers on bass, Andy Gullahorn singing background (along with Cason) and me singing and playing the ol' Gretsch. Hope you enjoy...

This is really a great recording. One of the best ones I've heard of yours.

Ditto Brannon's thoughts. Nothing beats a great live recording. I honestly like the "feel" better than the Overdressed version (and I like that one too).

Thanks for sharing it with us! I love our 'Pegs.

This song is very well done.
Any chance for a full band version of "the longing" soon?

Wow, the recording sounds great... and the performance is just what I'd expect. I wonder what the chances are of getting a recording of the whole show... ? :-)

Dude that is awesome. Is there anyway to get a download of it instead of listening online? I'd pay!

yea i'd love to be able to put this in my itunes as well... It would be worth the price of a download...

Again, the show I missed in my home town put on by some of my best friends from Dayspring church... and played the one song I requested and I wasn't there... I'm still upset with myself... very upset.

Anyway, enough of my whining, great recording! (would you happen to have the recording of "Too Far to Walk" from that night? that would make me happy.)

This is probably my favorite song on the record. Wonderful recording, thanks for posting it.

Andrew, I've been a fan since the first Normals record. I've always really connected with your songs. I just got Overdressed a couple weeks ago and finally had the chance to really sit down and listen to it, and this song is by far my favorite. Thanks for posting this live version. Fantastic!

Not bad---Hey didn't Derek Webb write that song?

When is Editor number 2 being released?

Andy,

That REALLY was a great live recording. Nicely played by you and the band. I want to also kindly ask that you find a way to release this for download. I also would gladly pay to add it to my iTunes library!

My goodness. I'm not going to lie, that was great. The outro of that reminded me of my ever favorite Jonatha Brooke & the Story "Inconsoleable." Well done man!!

Loved it. As good as when you played it in CT while on the BtLoG tour.

Wow, that is insanely good. The pristine quality of the recording really highlights the song the way such a great song should be. I'd pay for a live record any day with that kind of quality. Smokin'.
