rock and roll soothes the soul

I'm playing guitar for Matthew Perryman Jones Wednesday night at a club here in town called The Rutledge. If you're in Nashville, you should come out, it will be fantastic. We rehearsed tonight and it was a blast. It was kind of a nice release from the stress and (good) craziness of the new baby and visits and no-sleep and hospitals and all. We just set up and played some of my favorite music. Not a bad way to kill an hour or two.

have a good show
Man. I was already feeling bad about not coming [chancel choir stuff ... cantata is Sunday], but now I feel worse. Heh. Jones frickin' rocks with a full band.
Do you have any concerts coming up over the next three weeks? I am off school from this friday until January 8 so the midweek concerts would be easier to make it to (still a 6 hour drive, but at least it is doable.)
Yet another night I'd love to be a Nasvegan.
Makes me wish I was a musician. There's a degree of relaxation inherent in listening to music, but I bet the feeling's even stronger when one can create it.
That is great dude. I wish I could come out and see you and MPJ. It sounds like a blast.

I concurr, almost enough to try to move to Nashville.... Believe me, Ive thought about it.
Side Note: Saw AP & Co @ Westerville, OH last night for the BTLOG tour. Was Fantastic, but your presence on the Electric Guitar was missed. None the less, great show.
On a completely random/awesome note:
Click the link... you will love it. Andy in red and white tights? oh yes.
