Sasquatch on the loose...

I play in about 45 minutes, here in Xenia, OH. Right when I walked in to the building I saw this awesome sign...

I know. So great.

They're playing Andrew Peterson's The Far Country while people are walking in and I'm realizing it's been a while since I've heard it. I have to say, hearing it now, I'm terribly proud to have been a part of that album. What an amazing experience. Working on that project is one of the highlights of my career so far, and right now, I don't want to play, but just sit here and listen to the heart of my friend.

I left my razor at home and woke up this morning with quite a stunning, um, hairy face, I guess you'd say. Jud, the promoter, got me something to clean up with, and about 30 seconds into the experience I realized the hot water wasn't working. It's a new building, and a great one, so no big deal, but my pride wouldn't let me run to another bathroom to finish my job. Especially since I was wearing this lovely shirt, courtesy of Portland Studios...

So, a cold shave, it was. But it's kind of nice, haven't felt my skin there for a while. Anyway, I should go and get ready to play. They've sold quite a number of tickets tonight, so I'm excited. And Alison is in a baby shower right now, so I'm also excited for that! Take care and have a great Sunday...

Man! tons of stuff going on!

And dude... I have that same shirt... you know it...

...the best part is the underwear sasquatch is wearing... and what's the puddle under him? I don't care. The shirt rocks.

Cool. Jud is a friend of a friend and a really cool guy.

Hope all goes well with the show. He has been talking about it for months!

so, are you somehow ashamed of the shirt? Just say it.

oh, and i shave ALWAYS with cold water and a straight razor and nothing else. Once you get used to it, you won't want to switch.

Thanks again for coming tonight..... I had to leave early with the girls but enjoyed what I heard of the show....

Next time maybe we'll have time to finish Settlers...

Wish I was there. Hope the show rocked. I heard rumor you are going to be back in Ohio for the AP show in December. IS there truth to that? I hope so.

The show did rock!! The first time I've seen a full AO concert. But I wanted to hear more songs!

"All Shall Be Well" might be my favorite sounding song of all time. Something about the feel and the balance of the instruments and vocals. "Queen of Iowa" is a close second.

I, too, am glad you had a hand in the making of The Far Country. It seems like it was the right group of folks coming together at the perfect time (with a heck of a writer).

Hey bro,

A few of my friends and I came from Cedarville U. to hear ya. We chatted a sec last night.
'Just wanted to tell ya that after every song I was whispering to the others "okay, now THAT'S my favorite of the night," and you just kept 'em rolling. Excellent.

Blessings with your music and the new baby girl,
Andrew Cos-

No hot water? You're not going to make me crawl under the stage again, are you?

Incredible show last night. The highlights for me were hearing "Mother India" and getting a chance to explain my online moniker so you don't think I'm some sort of Jabez-worshipping psycho. If you get really bored you can read the whole story http://www.lordjabez.net/blog/?page_id=47" rel="nofollow">here.

Chris: I'm not sure that Andy will be playing many of those dates, as Alison is due about then. [I know, I know ... dude's priorities are SO OUT OF WHACK! ;)]

Chris,
I asked Andy after the concert last night and he sounded pretty doubtful whether he would be at the Ohio BTLOG concert.

loved having you at our church! Adam kept trying to explain all the sound hoo-ha to me that everyone had to do, and i didn't understand much of it, but i know i liked what i heard. we keep listening to your cds now at home, and Adam turns them up way too loud. :)
