Welcome to my new site!

As Keith Richards once said, in a televised concert I was watching because I was really bored one night in some Houston hotel, "It's good to be here.  Heh, it's good to be anywhere!"

Well, it sure is good to be on this new site.  My last one was getting pretty rough.  Not being able to edit major portions of it myself, it just got outdated.  These days, I spend as much or more time in the studio, producing, playing or writing as I do on my own artist career, so I really wanted a site that would incorporate all of that.

Hopefully, this will accomplish that goal much better.

And I would have had this site up by Friday, as I hoped, except that, last minute, I got on the guest list for Conan O'Brien's rock show (?) at Jack White's Third Man Records building.  The photographer who took this picture was directly to my right.  The show was more random and more awesome than this picture captures.

Well worth missing an arbitrary website deadline.

But, I have been working on it for a couple months now, and I'm pretty stoked about it.  Believe it or not, I did it all myself.  That's why it's really simple.  And why I'm asking you to feel free to beta test this sucker.  Click around, enjoy, tell me if you find any errors or bugs or anything.  Or if you have any ideas of other things you'd like to see.

And most of all, thanks for stopping by, for listening to my music, for caring enough to support me and my family.  You guys are awesome.

Hope you like the new site.

Bravo, my friend! Loving the site. Almost as much as I love waiting in the heat 3 hours for a Conan show that you got into by simply knowing Mitch Dane. *sigh* It's almost like "who you know" in this biz is as important as "what you..." hang on I'm still working that one out...hmmm....

The new website is great and the new songs are fantastic. I never thought God would ever be able to redeem anything about the idea of a sparkling vampires into a hilarious and true song, but HIs inscrutable councils have somehow pulled through by way of a humble singer-songwriter. Keep up the good work and have a great time at Crooked Creek!

I can't believe you actually learned HTML and CSS! Is this part of your competition with Andrew Peterson to be the most renaissancy-man in Nashville? Did Nashville even exist during the Renaissance? If a man takes a picture of himself brushing his teeth in front of a forest green towel, does the electric razor make a sound?
