I love this toaster!!

First of all, I'm aware AO.com is loading dreadfully slowly, and I hope to have it fixed soon. Thanks for your patience.
Secondly, I just posted a few new full-band Nashville shows to the tour dates. If you're around, please head on over and hang out with us!
Thirdly, if you feel bad for not sending me a gift for my birthday you can get me one of these...

Yeah, that's a Battlestar Galactica toaster. There are only three episodes left, people! I am not ashamed!!
So the Jill Phillips show Monday night is at 3rd and Lindsley, which is not what I said the other day. We rehearsed last night and it was fantastic. Cason Cooley, Andy Hubbard, Aaron Sands, Andy Gullahorn, David and Ned Henry, myself and Jill. I'm looking forward to it, and I hope you are to! Cason produced her record "The Good Things" and it's her best yet, I think.
I have been enjoying U2 on Letterman this week, particularly last night's. I still haven't had time to listen to the record, though, which is killing me! (This is not totally true, though, as since that record has released I've watched a few episodes of American Idol. But I have to, for my super-secret AI fantasy league.)
Well, I'm going to attempt to get back on this knee and go for a run here. Today is a photo shoot, background vocal session and a few meetings, then my parents are coming to town for the weekend. Have a great weekend, friends. See you soon!

i can hear alison now, with a furrowed brow she asks "andrew, can you tell me why sadie is walking around the house telling me to frak off"? ;)
After reading the post title I was afraid I'd find a steamy photo of Number Six here.
Battlestar has had it's up and downs the last few weeks. We're loving the last few weeks though. Excited to see how it ends.
New U2 is fantastic, particularly the song "Magnificent" -

Photo shoot? Intriguing...
And honestly, I'm really digging the U2 album. I've not necessarily been the biggest fan of theirs, but I find myself singing songs of theirs at random off the new album, even though I've only heard it three times or so... guess that's a good thing :)
There are definitely some interesting Achtung moments on the new album. Seeing them on Letterman has been amazing. I will definitely be auctioning one of my kidney's on ebay to make sure I see the tour.
What's all this U2 talk? Let's get to the important thigs. My wife and I have become huge BSG fans in the last month or so. I happened to be flipping channels and stopped there on a Friday night. We were hooked. We have since rented the first three seasons. In an unrelated story, I have given up all pretense of being cool. I must have that toaster. The one in the picture, not #6 Jud.
Jason, The U2 talk is deserved, however, I'm glad you're hooked on BSG. It is stellar. Why don't we buy the toaster together and take turns. Every other week we can mail it back and forth. Deal?
Distant future tour date: For the first time in a lot of years I'm considering making the 12 hour trip to Cornerstone, mainly because of all those Square Pegs. I hope everyone gets to play lots. And as for U2 - let's just say this quote from Bono will be used in our powerpoint worship slides today: "Justified 'til we die, you and I will magnify The Magnificent"
Deal. The coolest part of the toaster is that it burns in a cylon face on one side and a pseudo-inappropriate phrase on the other. And, yes, U2 rocks as well. They are still the best band in the world. They just continue to put out great material at will.
Dude, U2 is stupid awesome! This is my favorite album of theirs since Achtung. The Letterman spots were great, but their Good Morning America appearance was even better.
Hey Andy,
I think behind even the BSG and U2 talk, what the people REALLY want to know is how to join a secret AI fantasy league of their own.
My first grade class and I are sorry that we missed your birthday, but we can't afford a toaster. We listen to Letters to the Editor every day. The kids ask for songs by name...mostly Secret Country. They know that it is partly about my parents. (Jason is my brother) Instead of a toaster we would like to give you the gift of our ideas. We think you should write some songs with letters from children. We would love to supply the letters if you are interested.
I like this idea of letters from children.
Also, I feel very Left Behind, having not known that the U2 record was out. And I haven't caught up on the last ten or so BSG episodes because I was so burnt out by the first five or so of this season. They've gotten better?
