waiting for Joel

I'm sitting at a place called the Frothy Monkey, waiting for Joel, my publisher, and they've got free internet and I just read the batch of comments that were left here since I posted and went to bed.
It is the most amazing weather outside, here in Nashville. It's maybe just a tad bit too cold, somewhere in the 60's, I believe, but it's crisp and clear and beautiful. It's got hints of nostalgia and excitement, that "school just started, who will I fall in love with this year?" kind of excitement.
Joel, who still isn't here, e-mailed me yesterday and told me "this is perfect Andy O listening weather."
Thank you for your kind comments and for keeping up with me here on the site. I won't brown-nose you anymore, but your comments were wonderful to read and I am humbled and honored. Ok, Joel's here now and ordering me a hot chocolate, because he's nice and I don't like coffee. Gotta run. Thanks guys. Can't wait to hear about more of your days...

That's funny about the weather, because I always think of fall as perfect weather to listen to your music, too. In fact, I listened to The Normals last night. :)
I started school and fell in love--- how ironic.
You know us bloggers to well.
Hi...I'm a lurker around here and I love your blog. I just had to say the fact that you are at the Frothy excites me because it got its' start in the town where I go to college, Ruston, LA. We love our Frothy. Oh, they should have something called a White Raspberry Tea...you should try it it's great. :)
I'm glad to know that there's still somebody in this world other than me who hates the taste of coffee.
Hot chocolate? Andrew, you're such a cheap date. [See you Monday, hopefully.]
You and me both, Ron! It's nasty stuff.
two years ago i was living just off 12th avenue and walking the dog to the frothy monkey daily. now i can't wait to get back there one day. great weather and good times!
I never got to leave a message on the previous post, but just wanted to say along with everyone else that you're music has impacted my live in more ways that I can explain. Once again "The Best I Can" is the theme of my life... to bad I can't walk around with "theme music" like in the movies... that would be great!!
Keep making good music... don't worry about the support, we got you covered.
ao. what did you drink at the Frothy? drip? or a pumpkin pie latte with spice and extra frothe?
Andrew,
Wanted to say that at my premier show, a friend of mine said, "Your voice has gotten a lot better, and it's evident you've been listening to a lot of Andrew Osenga."
The only way I could ever take that is as a compliment.
Thanks for being wonderful, man.
Hey - it's funny... I think that fall is "Normals" weather. Something about the reality of winter (in New York), with the colors on the trees...
Clyde, I'm just glad you didn't get on his case about not drinking coffee... Let alone Peet's Coffee!
AO, It was a foggy morning this morning here in Marysville, WA... The sun was just coming up... It was crisp and clean. It actually felt just like my summer camp. The dew... well, you know.
So I listened to "Early in the Morning." That song, along with my study in Jude, set the tone for the rest of my day. It was a pleasant day.
Brian...what did you get your dog at the frothy monkey? ;-)
As for fall (my favorite season), I grew up in NH and absolutely love that nostalgic, waiting-for-the-bus, crisp, who-am-I-gonna-fall-in-love-with, check-out-my-new-clothes, first day of school....weather.
Mmmmm. Fall.

Wait... Geof... you have a date with Andy on Monday? Ok, that's not weird...
:)
It's a lunch date, or something.
That's funny my husband, J, hates coffee, if I even have a mocha he won't kiss me because at the smell of coffee he barfs. But I just wanted to let you know that I just finished reading all 4 posts I was behind...so this is my comment for all 4 posts...k? I read on the internet or blogging rules (which I have available on my blog, on my sidebar on page 4 links) that it's common courtesy to comment on the most recent post, so here you are. Now, as for the post about your toe...that's amazing! I didn't think mowing was that dangerous, yikes. I really liked the conversational post, that was poetically awesome. And as far as the stats post goes...I guess I wish I actually knew who those 1% of people were, because I don't think they visit me. I have been reviewing my stats server though and have seen that there are in fact people visiting but no one really commenting, so I guess what I'm trying to say is that 1% of commenters out of 100 sounds about right to me and my blog...I think you have more than a 100 because you have way more commenters than I that's for sure. Page 2 About Me is all about me too if you want to read my story...I guess it's not really my story like yours per say that would be found under the category entitled "Childhood Memories" or in any of the categories, and there's lots of them, because I basically archived all my stories into specific categories for genre reading...you know like in a library? Considering I hope to grad in April 2007 as a Library Technician I think for me to be well organized is right on. Anyway, this is probably the longest comment ever~sorry about that.
Coffee is yucky
sevenmiles,
i drank the coffee and my dog taylor, being the incredibly cute golden retriever he is, got loads of attention from the ladies. i was a bit jealous due to the fact that i never recieved such attention!
