and now you find out just how gear crazy I really am

Man, thanks everybody for reading this and saying hello. It's nice to be welcomed here. As I said before, I'm very new to this type of thing, and I appreciate the gesture.

And now, so you all find out that I really am gear crazy...

I'm building a new pedal-board starting next week. (It may take a few days.) Today working on Andy's record, Ben and I were wanting a sound that I didn't have. I realize I already have a pedal board as large as certain Papal cities, but I'm curious about the Line6 MM4 Modulation Modeler. Do any of you have one? If so, what do you think? And do you want to sell it? :) I think it could probably replace a couple smaller boxes, or just add some classy touches, and I have the real estate available. Anyway, that's all for now. I'm putting some more gear, and a guitar of Cason's, on Ebay tonight, so I'm sure I'll be posting a little more later. Thanks.

You totally need to take photos of your board(s) and show off the components, etc. It would be cool to know this stuff. Then, when we see you at shows, we can wow unsuspecting band newbies and get all the hot girls that are interested in you until they see your wif ... hey, whoa, is this thing on?

i'm just discovering the wonderful world of effect pedals myself with the faily recent purchase of a line6 DL4. so while i can't say anything about the MM4, i know that line6 makes some quality stuff so i'm sure it's a good pedal. they might even have an online demo or something like that to give you some idea.

Don't know about the MM4. I use the DL4 and the AM4 in my set up. And I really would like to get an MM4 someday. I know the guitarists of the Crowder Band use them quite a bit. Good for flange and what not, and I hear it works well with other pedals which is not always true of Line 6 gear. Their distortion modeler is very difficult to work with. That is why I have an analog man turbo tube screamer, recommended to me by Mark Lockett :-) Best pedal in my collection, I think.
