A few pics from our Summer

Here are a few photos from our Summer.

These are all shots from Frontier Ranch, up in Colorado.

This was my view every evening at club.

This was the long table that was set out on our last evening each week.

Great food and such a cool thing to see, one giant table full of friends and great food.

These are the guys I worked with most: J.D., Scott, my bad self and Cody.

Awesome dudes.

Last week

This is our last week of YoungLife camp. The seventh, as we've spent four here at Sharptop Cove in Georgia after three and a half at Frontier Ranch in Colorado.

It's been an incredible time, for our family and for me personally. I'm super excited to get back home next week, though, and (after sleeping for a few days) dive into the Leonard project.

I wanted to share a picture of my little girls at a little waterfall the other day. This sure beats watching cartoons everyday. So wonderful.

Somehow loving Jesus and playing guitar has led to this...

Frontier Ranch

For the past two weeks my family and I have been up here at Frontier Ranch, a YoungLife camp in Buena Vista, CO.

I've been leading songs, mostly Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber, as well as playing a few of my own tunes.

We've been meeting some amazing people, both high school friends and the YoungLife staff who give up so much of their lives to love them.

It's been an incredible time for our family. Such a beautiful place...

I'll have more soon...

We have achieved Lift-Off!!

Thank you everyone so much!!  We crossed the threshold yesterday around lunchtime.  I was attending my 4-year-old's preschool Spring Luncheon while it happened.  After lunch I headed off to bowling (my usual Wednesday lunch plans) and discovered a volley of facebook/twitter/email Leonard love.

I was (am) totally overwhelmed and honored by this.  Over 300 people have given money for a record that hasn't been made yet.  And some of you gave a LOT of money!!

It's said all the time, but rarely is it so obvious:

I couldn't do this without you.

Thank you.

We've still got about 22 hours left (until 9 Central Friday night) and all the funds that come in now will be set aside for the video component.  Which is a whole new world of fun for me.  I can't wait.

So tell your friends!  Make sure you get the T-shirt or the custom guitar pedal!  Last chance!!

And thank you!!!  I'll write again tomorrow after all is said and done.
